Biological Environment

Lower intertidal:  Corallina, Pterocladia and Ulva close to the outfall; Cystophora and Hormosira banksii in the rock pools.

Supralittoral: Nodilittorina unifasciata

Upper intertidal: Cellana, Austrocochlea and Nerita.

Subtidal horizontal rocky surfaces: algae -  a kelp (Ecklonia radiata)/Lithothamnion (encrusting Corallinaceae algae) association and assemblages of turfing algae.
